The 7th Annual Toronto Natural Hair & Beauty Show, Ontarios only hair show dedicated to black women and men who wear their hair natural, runs Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
Discover and celebrate the versatility and styles of natural hair at the Toronto Natural Hair & Beauty Show where professional hairstylists, cosmetology students, salon owners, and consumers come together to learn and exchange tips about natural hair care, products, health and beauty.
The one-day event includes a fashion show, workshops, braiding, barbering, hair showcases by local salons/stylist, vendor booths, giveaways, and much more.
Throughout the day enjoy live entertainment by Toronto performers as well as a meet and greet with Actress, comedian, author, playwright and TV personality KIM COLES. Perhaps best known for her five-season turn as the unforgettable Synclaire on FOXs ground-breaking comedy series, Living Single, KIM COLES has starred on numerous hit television programs including Frasier, Six Feet Under, In Living Color, One on One, and the uproarious TBS comedy series 10 Items Or Less as the villainous Mercy P. Jones.
The Toronto Natural Hair & Beauty Show is produced by Toronto Naturals and Sponsored by EvenToBe & Shellys Catering and Events. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are free.
